just rooted and uploaded my galaxy nexus to ubuntu touch, first impressions are
i can't unlock it!!! oops.

it was never locked. looks quite slick. gonna hold off on putting my sim card into it til the weekend, tomorrows work day is too important to not be able to take calls. anyone else playing with it?

Wait what!? Ubuntu was released for the phone now? I've been on the mailing list but not heard anything about it yet. Hoping to put it on my nexus 4.

Ah just read it. It's a developer preview and doesn't even support 3G/CDMA yet.
think I'll be holding off until they at least provide the features of my phone to me.

yeah, i read that as i learned a bit more about it. still, it looks super slick. since i've got a g nexus doing nowt, think i'll put the daily on every week or so and see how they're getting on.
i suspect the key to adoption will be import from other phones, ie from gmail, google drive etc.
