Title: Network Help: PC with external IP?
Post by: addictweb on June 27, 2017, 01:25:09 AM
Hi Folks

Im setting up all my computers in my new house and one somethings up with one of them.

Its directly wired to the router (192.168.1.1) and is set to obtain IP automatically, but for some reason the PC is getting assigned 10.50.XXX.X IP.

I cant connect to the router from the PC and the router cant see the PC, but the PC has internet.

What on earth is going on?

Yep, new router (ASUS RT-AC88U). Cant see anything unusual in the setup.

If i plug a different PC into the same cable it gets a normal IP.

I ran ipconfig but was only looking for the IP, will have a look again later and post it here.
