great for lots of swearing at your hand and embracing the sharpness of the eadgbe tuning

but the biggest thing ive learnt is changing up an instrument.
i started on a heavenly spanish acoustic, which i put a .56 gauge string on it so i could get drop a
tuning
an then i got for my 21st my ovation semi acoustic (with stupidly light strings which i now hate
)
relearning what made me pick it up made me really thing about what i was doing.
i do advise when buying a new guitar go for a different style of neck each time. say like nice broad necks with gibson, narrow and a better curve with a rolled edge (fender) or really flat and fast necks like ibanez.
chop and change to suit till you have your sound and your feel
