its clever though, they did it so you know it is, and its obvious it is. But then in the story hes like that due to mind control, hes acting and sounding ond due to it. So very smart.

And from now on he can come back now and again and they dont have to use his voice, lol.

Didnt you see that they put him in a Vader style suit? Hes alive, albeit nominally.
