There are places where you can run completely off the map and theres at least one where you can climb out of the normal zone you are supposed to be restricted too and go walkabout.

Go to the area where the helicopter crashes, instead of going straight ahead go right and climb up onto the pipes at the end of the building, walk back and you can go over the roof of the building you just came in through

I spent a few hours today just shooting stuff, doing absolutely nothing contructive.  Just found various high places and sniped things, then once an area was clear i farmed it.

Oh, and i also killed the duty leader because the Duty guys kept getting under my feet.

Considering how long it took to get to pc.

A mate has bought this game, looks like good fun.  Though when I left he was stuck in a small area with an anomaly holding the door to and another/the same anomaly flying around shooting fire at you.

heh, its one anomaly, and ita Poltergeist.  Shoot the sparkly cloud lots, need to use something with lots of kick and doesnt jam easily.  I used an AK74 and blew the git away, but got nearly dead in the process.

couple of us having a quick play around earlier.  Ive discovered the Phenomenon I shall christen "Sniper Whine", with its subset of conditions known as "DIfficult Headshot Whine", and "Wiggly Riflescope Whine".  I swear the love some folks have for sniper rifles makes me laugh.  I was being bitched at because i was dropping folks at 300m with a scoped Armalite (TSWhatever) and they couldnt get the hang of the sniper rifles.  Then they got upset that i was acting a decoy and they got owned by the 2 other guys on my team creeping up behind them and PABing them to death.

In the part where you initially have to take out a sniper and then a camp Im having real problems, not taking out the nasties but my 2500+ is wading about like a drunk sow trying to keep any usable frame rate going whatsoever

Have already shoved in as much of an OC as it will take too :(

I can play the game at full settings using 1280x1024, right up to the point my PC Bluescreens from Lack of power.  As its only dropping under load, and the temps are plenty low enough Ive run things down to a weak PSU.  My own fault, I didnt work out the power requirements before buying the kit.  Might take a drive down to Scan tomorrow morning.

Finished it. Ive got one of the ending sequences. Pah worse ending than Half Life!

TBH the endings I have run into arent too good, but there are more than one.

X18 there is another way out im pritty sure :)

There are meant to be 5 false endings and 2 true endings and because I was a rich many at the end it gave me a false one :(

There is, if you go into the sarcophagus and use the wishmaker then you have missed something, you need to go back a bit to before you entered the power plant area and check whats in your PDA to do list.

Unfortunately once you enter the area around the reactor then you cant go back.

Another bug is if you avoid the incoming troops, or kill them, and go back up the road you can avoid getting killed by the blowout but you then seem to be stuck.

The endings I have reached are either getting to the wishmaker and finding out that you wish to be made rich, with a terminal ending. Or if you avoid that you can end up with a choice of join or leave, leaving isnt a good option.

Seems there are quite a few bugs residing in this - as well as some things that are not made entirely clear.

Another place you can jump the fence. As you are entering the area of the 100 rads bar, go up to the ditch and bank where the dogs are, kill the dogs and run along the top of the bank, jump the wire fence at the end and you are outside the normal gaming area. Will give you a nice run and you can visit some uncompleted buildings
