Hilariously if you install to HDD before playing the 360 version high res textures are disabled!!!  :o :o :o what a cockup!  assumedly it will be patched!

I installed it and was going to slate it, though even with high res enabled it still looks like PC will outshine it loads (it still looks good on 360 though :))

People can't honestly expect console games to match up in appearance with bleeding edge PC graphics technology, maybe if the X-box 720 or PS4 was just out for the game to look pimp on, but not on such old hardware.

tbh it looks decent given the now creaky specs  8) I keep saying it, but it looks another where the PC is going to batter it, and the console boys I doubt will put up with this for long

I've already played sixteen hours so far, killed three dragons, joined the dark brotherhood and killed a bunch of people.
So awesome, and yet I've barely scratched the surface. :D

Random hilarity ensues. Also you can't take the ring off once you've put it on. :)

Xbox 360 wise - Do not install to console and you get better graphics. There is a bug at the moment. Longer load times but it looks better.

In terms of fun:
Avoid giants, lol.

Bit of an erratic bug too, seems like it's not affecting some players at all.
Good workaround for the moment is to install it to a USB stick rather the the HD, preferably the fastest one you've got. :)

That's how I'm playing it at the moment, and I've only encountered two different texture bugs so far:
The stream right next to the main entrance of Whiterun (runs underneath you) sometimes it only shows the specular map with no texture, so it looks more like liquid metal than water. Also a specific castle I came across somewhere seemed to have two different sets of textures applied to it, one on top of the other, made it flicker/strobe like crazy.
Plenty more patches to arrive in the future I expect, though nothing so far has affected my gameplay. :)

Your spoiler wise - It is a bug. You are supposed to get a bonus but its way to much in terms of a horse.

You think horses are too overpowered? They seem fine to me.

I was cautious of this game tbh, yes it's 100% 'more of the same' but the presentation is amazing, I got given the main mission, then just wandered off and did my own thing the environments are the best I've seen and it just looks damn great ;D
