Think we ought to start a poll on the final bodycount in the film?

Not long(err ish) now :ptu:
Buzzing to see this tbh, not watched a decent flick at the cinema for a while, I hope they dont bother putting this in 3d
-
Im looking forward to this. Along with Predators and Inception there may be some more things worth watching at the cinema finally!

+1 Inception and this, that line of stars is unreal
-
+1 to all of the above tbh and especially at the cinema.
Reading that link about Slys Neck; I wonder if Stone Cold went "WHAT ?" when Sky screamed out in pain
-
I thought Inception had been out for ages? I remember seeing stuff on the net about it yonks ago, almost as long as the hype was out for Avatar!

The verdict
Its silly, its loud, and it is in no way imaginative. But it does have the most impressive cast of any action film ever, and theyre packed between wall-to-wall destruction. Stallone might not know how to write decent dialogue, or direct any of his actors but he knows what action fans like and has jammed ‘The Expendables’ full of it

Sounds damn good to me

You wouldnt really go to see a film with any of those actors in and expect it to be any other way tbh.

This is a 15 right? Im sure I read somewhere it was :gag:
-
I went to see it last night. It was amazing! The story was pretty solid for a pure action flick and the action sequences where awesome with some very original twists and moves.
While I was watching it I was thinking it was like a modern version of Commando. The Schwarzenegger cameo was perfect aswell any more of him and it would have been too cheesy.
it is a 15 but there is still plenty of decapitation and limbs being sliced off etc.
This gets 5/5 from me!

didnt anybody here go and see it?
I would have thought alot of people here would have loved it.
-
I saw it last night, and cant believe it was a 15!
Arnies role was good, and the references in that scene were great :P
Also the usage of the AA12 fully automatic shotgun made the film for me!
They obviously had a large budget for explosions and blood!
-
It was good, but Ive seen so many great films this year that it was all a bit of a blur. Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, Inception, the A-Team, Predators, all of them stuck in my mind a bit more than the Expendables.
Ill certainly pick up the blu-ray when its released.
-
Saw this finally - thought it was IMMENSE!!
That is all...
-
Its not a brilliant film by any stretch but it was great popcorn action which I think its all it really ever set out to be. Ill definetly be picking it up but only when the collectable steel tin bluray comes down in price a bit, dont mind paying about £15 for a bluray when its something I want but its still near £20 ish so will wait for it to come down in price.

Wasted all the budget on the actors, the special effects were pants in some scenes, didnt really grip me either.
