does this exist?

I am after a 5.1 system for my tv/xbox
Is there a system where the satellite speakers are wireless? dont want to have to run cables under carpets etc

they exist, usually the front are wired & the rear are wireless - I would guess a full wireless setup exist, but prob come with a premium price

They are usually expensive and a bit rubbish as wireless systems, something like the Creative GigaWorks G550W 5.1 might be good value for money, it cant be awful seeing as its THX certified.

As above. Seen wireless rear speaker ones but if you do not want to pay through the nose they are average and if your a wireless home I have read people having issues with a number of manufactures products.
The Idea of no wires is golden but just not practical if your not a billionaire. What I did recently was run wires down from the loft and the speakers mounted in the corners of the room. Was relatively straight forward and I just ran cables down the inside of the wall to a point and got a panel for the wall that keeps it tidy.

Honestly I dont think THX means much, I got a certified set and theyre crap.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

There we go then, I did think it would be a bit of a gimmick. I bet it just conforms to some very loose specification.

cheers Ill just get some wired ones, I have floorboard under my living room so can put the wire under them.

Any recomendations for a good value set?

To be fair mine are Altec Lansing, the Creatives might be ok.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.
