- Its solo Samurai
- Its more star wars then the originals (what I think star wars should be)
- Its chapters of a story rather then episodes of a TV show which I think is the right choice
- Set and costume design is movie level (for the most part)

it does seem like high quality movie level production.. although I saw a boom mic float into the bottom of the frame last ep.

Only on Disney plus so far IIRC.

Big issue with Star Wars is they started out doing decently well making scripts aimed much more at adults but child friendly and then reversed it due to the merchandise.

Star Trek Picard will be released early next year. Hopefully better than the first Discovery series, although they did manage to pull it back during the second series. Anyone think that Discovery will make a third series?

In the mean time managed to watch the Expanse season 3. Actually a very decent and adequately scientific series.

really enjoyed discovery, looking forward to Picard. The Expanse was also very good.

+1 for enjoyed the Expanse and looking forward to Picard. Not into SW in a massive way so I'm decidely meh about tthe Mandalorian.

Honourable mention for Dark Matter, cut short in its prime  :'(

Same.

I'd still recommend everyone watch it as its good, but it does end on a cliffhanger as the entire next couple of seasons that had already been written were canned. I wish Netflix would pick it up to finish.
