It's late night, you're working on a critical piece of software for your company. It must be finished by sun up.

LOL screw that... unless someone is going to offer me a silly amount of money there is no chance I'm pulling an all niter... as a colleague once said 'its only money, we're not saving lives here'... Project managers etc.. frequently want extra resources etc..and everything is allegedly super critical - tis up to them to manage time/resources effectively and manage the client's expectation.

Heh, your colleague is wrong. I've been in that exact situation a few times. It's pretty stressful as you can imagine.

The post was just many to be asking what your weapon of choice is for getting stuff done.

Project managers are useless for promising the earth in impossible timescales, true but if you had to do it, what would you use?
