Lego online?
on: October 17, 2008, 17:19:14 PM
Does anyone remember this?

I cant remember if I only played it with my uni or college friends, or whether it was with some of you lot too.

It was basically a free online lego world. Pretty basic. You had a lego man, and could run around a 3D landscape with a jetpack. You could place standard lego bricks, as well as use your hammer to destroy bricks. I remember some people worked together to build uber pyramids. I myself preferred to build an uber high stack of bricks and then build a house in the sky.

If anyone does remember it, do you also remember its name? I had a look a while ago and couldnt for the life of me find it anywhere.

No actually. It was some independent program! Im starting to think that it went the way of scrabulous. Someone borrows on an idea and it is fairly successful. then the creators of the original decide to cash in and develop their own version, in the process forcing the removal of the original free version :(
