No.
Developer release last week, Thursday MS Release for public but they rolling it out earlish to try and avoid the server crashes of last week.
I love it, Some getting used to and Some features still not yet come to it that were not ready and some bugs but it is more solid then Vista already and just dam nice to use, The tastbar is brilliant, Takes the good bits of the windows bar and what mac does and combines them well. They finally have something to work with now.

Meh, trying to download the release candidate but it seems to be going really slow (1kbps!).

Not sure whether its just getting hammered on their end, or whether a firewall or something is blocking their java download client :(

I love it too. Im currently running it in a VM and using it for office tasks but my plan is to stick it on my laptop just as soon as I can confirm driver support (Dell XPS) :)

Its what Vista shouldve been.

All sorted. Just trying to get the flash plugins so I can actually get on with my work now.

Anyone got any ideas on whether when MS releases Win 7 properly, if theyll do some sort of upgrade option for people using the RC? Im not talking about a free upgrade from the evaluation copy to full, but just like in Vista where you could download and upgrade from home premium to ultimate etc, whether theyll make a download/purchase option to update any changed files and change the licence?

Will be a bit of a bugger to have to reinstall everything in 3-6 months time :D

EDIT:

Found this on the MS Win 7 RC site, shame, can but hope theyll change it later

Can I upgrade from the RC to the final version of Windows 7?

When you install the final version of Windows 7, youll need to do a clean installation. So plan on backing up your data then reinstalling your applications and restoring your data.

Tis easy, even I can do it, and thats saying something!

Can install from vista so no messing around with dos or boot from disc etc. Not sure how much Id trust the ability to upgrade vista to the RC, especially if your vista install is screwed, so may be better installing to a seperate disc/partition. It automatically sorts the dual boot milarky out, making Win7 the default to boot from if a diff OS isnt selected at boot.

Im back to using vista. Mostly as everything is installed on the OS and I CBA installing everything I use regularly to only end up reinstalling Win 7 when its released. Didnt find much wrong with it, though not too keen on the task bars grouping system (Yeah I know you can ungroup windows, Im talking about the way the quick access icons seem to merge with the taskbar, without being seperate etc!). I guess its just something Ill get used to over time.

Keep using it, it is just different. I use a macbook pro so I kind of have got used to it. It does make it actually easier, you just hover over and close windows / tabs from there rather then going into the program. The quick links also are very useful.
Some may not know but if you click a program icon in the taskbar and drag up (hold click and up) you pull up a quick access box and you can open the recent files for that program and other options depending on the software support for it or just right click. The pull up is mainly for touch screen but it has been put there as well as a right click.

Well Ive finally got round to installing it on my work workhorse.  Its a Dell opitplex with 2 19" W Dells through a cheap 7 Series card.

I started installing and left it and went out for lunch.  When I came back, it was loaded, on the desktop, had picked up all my drivers and allready chose to put dual view on for me.  Within 2 hours I was up and running on the domain with main office apps.  Its quick and feels very stable.

Ive had a taste of the taskbar, I really like it, pinning active and inactive applications, and I certainly like the grouping preview of the apps, ie for example.
