just tried another release of it
And STILL - the 802.1x auth is NOT working properly on either of the wireless cards in my laptop.
I refuse to use WPA2-PSK when I can use proper WPA2-Enterprise on my trapeze gear - so Ill stick with XP and BSD for the meanwhile.

All that article does is show how to configure a laptop for WPA/2 and TKIP with PEAP offload to a standard RADIUS server, like Microsoft IAS. That is one of many possible configuration options.
For example, most orgs would have the computer account used (Via a matching user glob for example host/*.*.*) until handoff to the user account was possible - to allow the machine to see the domain to log on. This authentication may or may not also be bonded due to security considerations.
I know how to configure WPA with PEAP offload, I have been installing enterprise wireless networks for 7 years.
It doesnt work with the way I have RADIUS set up on my trapeze hardware - which is the way quite a few smaller orgs would have it running.
