I think they are around same with Chemical Brothers, not quite the right fit for the movie.

I hope that manage to squeeze a phrase or two from the Tron Scherzo by Wendy Carlos from the original score into the new film.

GOT ME DAFT PUNK!
Awesome.

Chris, I think it has some elements from the original, if not exact parts it has the essence there.
It is an interesting mix of full orchestra and daft punk electro beats and I got a sense of blade runner in there. (which is not a bad thing because both the movie and soundtrack are awesome)

I like, Need to listen to it more.

Oh and to add...

Its a movie score, its a soundtrack for a movie by daft punk. Its not a daft punk normal album release so do not expect the norm. Its a soundtrack.

Worked out how to sum up the soundtrack now I have seen the Movie Yesterday.

Its the original score for Tron with Daft Punk and has Bladerunner along with Mass effect Mixed in there.

And the more you get into it the more I like it. In terms of going with the movie it works very well!

Seem lots of comments on the web of people hating Daft Punk now who used to be fans over this. Really daft. A lot of replies are simply " ITS A MOVIE SCORE" and a lot of people seem to forget that. As a Score its really good!
