Wireless Networking woes

Got hold of a Dlink Wireless Router for my brother, installed and working fine.
Tried to connect his students laptop to it, however the laptop is in Chinese, ive tried changing language settings but as far as i can tell the only way it can be done is by re-installing English version of windows, so that is not an option.
I cannot understand the messages it telling me regarding the network and have tried to wing it by guessing with no luck.
What id like to know is, if i install a Dongle with the driver CD will it automatically come up in English or Chinese, i need to know this in advance cus ill have to buy one to try it.
