So a World of Warcraft server for those who can't handle the modern version? :P

I'm not even going to try downloading that. Presently trying out Black Desert Online, not very successfully.

Positive; it's an old style Korean game so good fighting. You get to ride a donkey or horse, or even make a wagon/boat.

Negative: it's an OLD STYLE Korean game, so confusing storage, market and gathering mechanics. Slow to get around, forget waypoints. it doesn't have any. The cash store is horribly expensive, then again I remember laughing at the one in WoW, $30 for a re-skinned horse that was really no better than the basic one? Gold seller adverts scroll up the chat every couple of seconds, which is naff anyway.

Oh and end game is large scale PvPvE at the moment, don't know how well I'm going to do at that cause I'm far too slow.

No, Vanilla is the original experience, its much harder than the modern game.

Also peak times is over 12,000 players on one server, i'd say thats popular. They all have a TBC server in the works with a shard system like Guild Wars so you can play the same game on different shards but rezone to meet friends etc.

In some ways it sounds better than BDO. Riding around on a horse for twenty minutes to get to where you planted your crops, or stored that bit you desperately need, can be a pain. Then you have to go all the way back.

I do like the combat. I roll out my witch, round up a group of mobs and then blatt them. Works almost every time. In many ways combat is better than GW2.

Blizzard closed the server, it had too many players, i found another community which is far better.  :muttley:
