running the bleedin edge unstable version atm. Its pretty fly. Desktop icons and a new sane file manager, Thunar. Zippy as all out. Available for the new Ubuntu Dapper Drake via Synaptic.

You know you want it, red. :D

Might have to give it a whirl thou I cant see me going back to it after using pekwm (pekwm 1.4 has gone stable btw ;) )

Having said that I would probably use Thunar, GUI file manger is nice now and again, nautilus is bloated and I dont get on with ROX.

I dont have the need for a panel. Keep trying stuff like fbpanel out every so often but find myself not using it. I generally either use a shortcut to bring up the root menu or just bring up the command box and type in the command.

I have xfce installed incase anyone else needs to use my computer - pekwm does require some reading of the docs to get going (much like openbox).
