Is it my connection throttling or have youtube seriously capped their download speed?

for even a short 1m 30s video it takes more than 5mins to fully download, makes youtube pretty much unuseable.

Ive only got a 1mbit line but I allways get 120kbps download on utorrent/limewire and general downloads.

Still on Tiscali?   if not and have move to O2 then its the Speedtouch thing, all my problems magically vanished when i swapped the router out.

Perhaps you used it at peak time. About 8pm and everyone and their dog is on there.

Nah I know what he means. 3am the other day and I couldnt get speeds good enough to watch things. Gave up in the end. *mb connection was running flawlessly too.
