Alot of the uk sales now is down to more games like "The Sims" in which sales are growing, also alot of MMORPG games.
The big shiny flashy graphics titles arent selling well, just look at EAs profit figures.
I have to admit company of heroes is impressive, though with Relic having a game like DoW under its belt that isnt suprising.
Also we havent really seen that much of SC2 yet, only a few bits of footage, I would rather they keep closer to the original than go off at a tangent and spoil the brilliant SC formula.
I am actually finding the super high graphics games harder to play because the screen becomes too fussy with all the fancy effects, especially RTS games
TBH, EA has all been about graphics and the gameplay a bit poo, every time they have gobbled up a great game company the graphics improved but the gameplay slipped.
SC2 is almost done so what you see is what it will be - October release date
Question will be - will the zerg rush still work in these day and age or will it get boring to quickly - time will tell but While fun for 5 mins I do not think it would last
