Change Exchange
on: January 31, 2007, 15:38:41 PM
Well my on off net issues seems to again come from the exchange, its apparently old and upgrading is causing issues for many customers on broadband through them, that and the fact it is quite a fair way from me its annoying.
Thing is the BT engineer told me that there are 3, yeah THREE other exchanges that are actually nearer, one is 10 minutes walk away for example.
It is crazy that I am on one miles away, Is there any way you can pester bt in some fashion to get your house/street moved? Neighbours also affected by the net issues.

Current:

Nearer:

Why are we on the one miles away? quite simple this actually, 30 seconds walk up the road and I am in the county area of South Wigston, Go to bottom of road and turn left few minutes and I am in Aylestone, Go right and 1 minute I am in Wigston.
Our road and road only is classed as city council and around us is all county.
I had hassle with regard to which school I had to go to , some dump city one or the good county ones parents had to fight for me to go to county ones.
Waste removal is a little way for them so sometimes they do not show up, you may be aware of my Royal Fail issues due to the same thing and our road and paths are falling to bits and we need a roundabout as well
Just down the road the adjoining road as been resurfaced every year and roundabouts galore where needed.

Takes the piss
