PayPal Fraudified
on: April 26, 2016, 21:54:42 PM
Agh, thar been pirates boarding my PayPal.

I had a email saying that I've set up a pre-approved payment plan today to some outfit in the states, $39.00 a month. PayPal fixed this without me doing anything. Win!

I had another email today saying someone had paid me 50 pieces of eight today, and sure enough the payment was sat in my account. I figured it was geniune so I checked the sender out and emailed them, they reported it to PayPal so I'm like cool I can just log in and cancel/refund/whatever the transaction. Lose!

PayPal give me three options and only three:
1. I have posted the item.
2. I have posted and refunded the money.
3. I have refunded the money.

I can't do any of those things. All I want is a 4. Nope, send the moolah back please..  :-\

Has anyone had PP issues like this before - my only worry now is that if someone piratious has been on my account could they do owt with the info on there - bank account details etc? All my registered bank cards on there were expired luckily.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Its funny how the transaction is not related to Ebay yet they are still trying to follow the rules of Ebay, i thought they were 2 separate companies now cough bullsh*t

The only thing you can do is call them, as they have oversimplified their processes so much that as you can see the obvious option is no longer available!

I'm glad i never signed a bank account up.

It's all bullsh*t.

I got shafted this week by PayBay, listed an SSD with explicitly no returns, I put in the description buyer must be aware that the drive reports SMART failure as its reached the threshold of its write life cycle (still around 1000 writes left).

Dodgy foreign buyer that barely speaks English sends me a refund request along the lines of "Drive broken!!!111 I send you drive!! Now refund!!" so I messaged him back to clarify he was an idiot and he wouldn't even tell me if he had even tried the drive or not. I asked for proof and never received any.

The shower of sh*ts at eBay automatically settle the dispute in his favour despite me messaging them explaining the situation and that the auction had No Returns Accepted chosen when listing. What's the f**king point in having that option if you get shafted anyway? :disappointed:

On my personal accouint i don't bother selling on Ebay anymore unless its a classified advert with best offer, so i limit myself to expensive sh*t that people have to collect, cus if they dick me around i have the opportunity to tell them to f**k off.

I do this for a living on 2 work accounts, its easier with new stuff and full support of a marketing dept, shipping dept etc cus it takes the pain out of it, all i need to focus on is choosing the items and building feedback.
