They depended on over 100,000 EU drivers that are no longer there, and they are not coming back anytime soon.

This is going to get worse with the offer of free access to the UK for EU lorry drivers by opening cabotage rights, while the UK ones are stuck without.

Seems that the number might have been as low as 20.

knighty, the issue is we had the drivers, the UK could have just allowed them to continue their work without issue. This is more to do with populist and racist people who support the Tory party than the UK needs.

To remain popular the Tories are creating issues with the EU that hurt the British economy far more than theirs, and in many instances give the EU a massive boost that used to come to us. Worse the EU aren't trying to harm us, it's our own government!

They werent paying any taxes, they had a distinct advantage over UK drivers, we voted to leave the EU to get rid of sh*t like this
