Title: Fundraising taxes.
Post by: Privateer on March 13, 2008, 17:07:47 PM
before I get told off, its not in my Stem Cell threads or in any of my 1000+ other threads I did it, so it would be read.

example, on Tax.

if a tax registered company donated a £1000, would it be taxable.

thanks.

I believable charitable donations can have tax rebated. I could be wrong though.

giftaid :) give it a google, not sure if it applies to organisations however.

It certainly wont give the organisation a "tax break" if thats what your asking, but rather the charity will be able to claim back the tax for itself.

unfortunately the stingy gits wont do gift aid at the higher rate - which tbh.. is complete bollocks.
