It is actually the zoomed in gap between the watch glass and the metal bezel. The light blue "sealant" area is actually the edge of the glass which has been microscopically chipped through wear, and is at a slight angle so as to be visible...

It was a generic unveiling, as opposed to correction, for the benefit of those who couldnt figure out what it was. You got an extra point for guessing the location, youd have got more if you had said anywhere between 9-12 oclock too

There will be, the challenge is to find something that is encountered by people daily, or at least that most people will know of and so be able to guess it, which also is obscure enough when magnified. I keep wanting to do obvious things like newspaper or carpet etc, and some things which I think would look cool would at the same time not be guessable as the part could be found on multiple different things etc.
