I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Im going to be changing the scoring on this one and future ones to make it more encouraging to guess, IE, by increasing the points awarded. First 3 correct guesses get points, 10 for the first correct guess, 8 for the 2nd and 5 points for the 3rd correct guess.
In the event of me posting something and logging in later to find more than 3 people have guessed correctly, the 4th person onwards will get something like 3 points etc. Hopefully thisll counterbalance people (hopefully) guessing incorrectly a few times before getting it right.

The point bonuses for stating the exact location on some objects will remain, though Ill say when this applies (not for this one).

Im not actually using the trinocular mounted camera as its a pretty cheap and nasty 1.3mp camera, I still get a better picture by using my 400D in manual mode against one of the eyepieces.

Is it the detector from a water depth sensor?

You willing to say how much you forked out for it, zpyder?

~£450 in the end. The price shot up due to a range of things, as I only had £150 chrimbo money heh, and Im currently waiting to see if I get stung for import tax, nearly a week since it arrived now. I initially bought a compound microscope but before it was shipped I asked to swap to a stereo microscope, but then decided to add some extras on, and then decided that the dark field attachment would be useful, and why not get a trinoc etc. This was all from seeing a cheap plastic £40 usb microscope in a shop and deciding Id like one, but wanting better optics ><

Another hint, Id have thought itd be getting obvious by now...

is that camera just slotted into a standard 1-1/4 inch eyepiece holder? because if so you can get adaptors from any telescope shop to mount a DSLR to such a holder with or without a projecting eyepiece. Just thought that might be of interest to you.
