Gilette Fusion POWER

For the 6-12 months leading up to a new razor launch, Gilette has been known to release blades which arent as sharp as they were previously.  When the new razor is launched, it has the very sharp blades thus its noticably better than your old razor.

I use a brush, Mach 3 turbo and some Dove soap when I actually do shave.

Was my mums and she wont be needing it anymore so might as well use the stuff.

This gillette shaving crap is so overpriced for an inferior shave. Im currently looking for a decent cutthroat as this in the long run will work out cheaper. A cutthroat will cost you £50-100 and last a lifetime if you treat it correctly add this to the price of a strop and £2 of shaving soap that lasts 6-12 months unlike that blue sh*te in a can gillete do and it will work out cheaper in 1-2 years thanks to the cost of gillette blades and foam.

A double edge, or a classic Schick injector are far better for daily use than a cutthroat. You still need to pay to get them sharpened at least 1-2 times per year by a pro, the strop is only to hone, just like a steel is used for a kitchen knife. Certainly fun as an occasional tool, but take it from me, Im pretty handy with one, but if youre the least bit tired or undisciplined, youll cut the sh*t out of yourself. I have.

btw You should replace em at least every few days, idealy after one use, otherwise youre scraping a filthy, germy blade over your chops, Especially seeing as they have those nice moisture-retaining bateria breeding strips.

I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

I have a mach 3 at the moment, but im appauled at the cost of the blades!!! Bloody tempting to go back to simple single blade disposables.

I wear out a mach 3 blade in 2 shaves. and its £5.40 for 4 blades... ffs.. a new razor with 2 blades costs me like £6 what the hell are they making the blades out of?? gold?! titanium?!

I got a Tondeo. Bloody insane sharp. Awkward to shave with, but certainly a challenge. Its mainly meant for hairdressers and barbers to use for neck shaving, or hair cutting, as it comes with a guard.

I got the non-power fusion and I must say I was impressed at the first shave, slightly impressed at the second but by the THIRD shave it felt like I was dragging a set of rusty garden sheers over my face...

Not impressed at a £3 blade lasting 2 shaves....

Dovo ftw, never done me any harm and tbh I just avoid shaving with a hang-over/tired anyway even with a saftey blade.

Its a bugger you have to put it in the hold on flights though.
