 As per last year all bookies now have pretty much dumped quarter odds E/W, it seems to be one fifth odds as standard with some taking the pistachios with one sixth With this in mind I probably won't be bothering with anything under 25/1 same last year.

Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. The national is quite literally a lottery with so many horses running, the bookies can be "generous" On this event because with such an enormous field and now reduced E/W payouts they still win regardless.

The second road is the one I take, is less level headed and is actually still gambling, what I'll do is use the offer to place £250 of bets for £125, I end up backing around half the field last year I made a killing, but make no mistake it's a reckless strategy of high risk high reward.
