Tinned fruit.
on: April 20, 2008, 20:07:19 PM
I dont eat cakes, biscuits or sweets ever really, not because of a diet but simply because they dont interest me (Pizza, kebabs and burgers do though! - Its been 8 weeks since my last kebab, and Im really struggling).

Oddly, Ive just had a craving for something sweet. So I had a shuffle around and all I could find was some tinned fruit, just cheapo crap. I have no problem with crappy stuff, but why oh why do they insist on suspending the fruit in this god awful syrup crap? Whats wrong with water or something like that? I assume it keeps the fruit fresher? Or is it because the only people who eat tinned fruit have a craving for something sweet and the syrup sorts that? Who knows . . .

You can buy tinned fruit in juice... mandarins in juice are a personal favourite, somewhat oddly.

If you shop around you might be able to get fresh fruit :P. Strawberries and rasberries are always good :)
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

I actually had a craving for tinned fruit the other week.

Always found the best bit was drinking the syrup at the end after eating all the lumps!
