seems to be deadly expensive to get into it - he flies the Jumbos - very few of those pilots about apparently,

Absolutely rakes it in - and hes only 32. He became a captain last year

Does a load of private charter work too. Gets us the odd cheap flight, and has a customs free box.

bargain :D

You can do a full comerical airline pilot course for £50k, Wages aint brilliant though to start off.
Obviously the best route in, is by being a former RAF pilot or somthing.
 What do they say? the bigger they are, the easier they are to fly.

He classes himself as a glorified bus driver.

His dad was a pilot for BA and put him through all the training  - lucky sod.

I dont think I could be a pilot & in  a relationship.. Id be chasing skirt whenever possible.

My sis and her partner dont like it when I call them glorified bus drivers. But its true.

Seems like they hardly work too, as if theyre not off, theyre on standby. I think shes (un)lucky if she gets to fly 4 days a week haha.

Worst thing ever is when you get two pilots in a room together. Even though they take the piss out of the plane spotters, they just dont shut up about flying!

Neither do plane engineers, I should know I go out with one! lol
Get them in the room together and they take the piss out of spotters and pilots too lol

Threaten GBH and claim it would be regarded as reasonable by a judge. Really though they do it to urinate on everyone else.
