probably your isp, i had a problem once because i had a very similar ip to someone who was spamming irc, managed to get back on though

use a different server. Quakenet can be overwhelmed.

Already tried them all. funny its just anything with quakenet in it gives me that error. must be isp related.

find someone who can host a bnc for you, i would offer but i am using my home server and i doubt it could handle it

hmm, sometimes I get denied with Gaim, but Xchat works fine.

Im currently using the UK server with Xchat and it works flawlessly.
