How long ago was ocs? Thats when I joined.

I think Ive been around since 2000-2001 but only cos I remember having pc-150 memory.

my post count should be at least 19,000.

I joined when building my first main rig, which I believe was an Athlon Thunderbird (1200Mhz?), so around that time. Certainly wasnt in the P133 days, I bought one of those in 1995 from Special Reserve and that was my first actual PC purchase. Followed a year or so later by a Pentium 200 MMX system which I played Pod on

doh..... I didnt have a modem when I first got my P133... it must have been after that....

must be 12+ years ago tho... I was still at secondery school, which i left about 12 years ago?

EDIT: not I think about it.... 95 must be about right... because my P133 came with win95.... and so did my brothers P90 ?

Sam left OCS long before 2003 though.

Thinking back, it took me a while to catch up in the PC game. Back when Windows 95 was released I had a 386DX40 with 16mb Ram.

I was determined to run windows 95 on it, and it did. Much like you could run XP on a PC with 256mb ram now.

My first home built rig was a P4 1.8ghz with SD ram. I probably put that together shortly after joining.
