Cadbury World

Any one been to Cadbury World? Went today. Thought it was utter rubbish TBH apart from a few free chocolate bars  ;)

Kids were diappointed the umpa lumpas were on "Holiday"  :P

They give you a pass to their "factory Shop" which is actually more expensive than you can buy them elsewhere.   :(

Great place to go if your about to have an interview for a job at cadburys but not worth going otherwise. Overall 3/10

I went on an "educational trip" with school several years back. we were supposed to learn how the business was ran, I think or it might have just been a field trip we talked our way onto.

I dont know what Id rate it now, then I found it annoying, seeing loads of choclate being made and not being able to eat it.

it was good when i was little, but ive been there recently (i think it was a couple of years ago) and its absolutely crap now. your kids want to see umpa lumpas? take them to alton towers and go on the new charlie and the chocolate factory ride tbh. i wanted to go on it but the queue was huge, but then it had only been open a couple of days.

Been a few years since I went but it used to be the case that you could simply get a few of the pick and mix bags from the shop before going on the tour & stock up on a shed load of free chocolate on the way round.

Ive been twice.

Once many many years ago you could actually see the stuff being made *properly* and got loads of chocolate on the way.  Also the shop had mishapes which were yum and cheap :)  Now they are fed to animals iirc.

The second time, many many years later, there was this silly ride which probably is still there and none of the cheapo mishapes - all the pigs (animal not human) had eaten them instead :(

Cadburys was once a good place to go for cheapo chocolate and a good look round but now due to health and safety $%!#, is nolonger any good.
