The amount of scamming going on is pretty ridiculous at the moment. The fact that facebook allow scammy adverts is pretty useless, google too.
Some regulation would help.
They had a line that was further away from what it should be because they were making money. The fact is most companies, services and even applications and even video games run a methodology of leaving something till enough people complain.
A bug, something that may be a little iffy and so on - Leave it till someone notices, leave it till a certain level of people kick up a fuss.
Look at EA. They been increasingly doing a number of things from a poor game methodology structure, timelines and funding for most of its games (Creating a lot of crap) as well as the increased monetisation methods to make money.
They allowed a number of years of bad reviews, press and issues as they still were making money (gamers complain but they still buy the dam games!) and only action anything when it goes too far.
People forget, things move on so it is not till law or legal becomes involved and actually looks to issue change.
It is truely the world run by corporations and its only when they hit the government ledges when they trip up. America already has a businessman looking to change things to help himself and his business mates make more money and in 100 years as sci-fi tells us, before the robots start taking over we will have governments with little to no power and corporations running the earth.
