In a straight line its about 5km each way; the path is much more zig-zag so maybe 7km. Over open ground the going would be very rough, especially high up. And its 4400 feet up too! There is a race up and down each year, google may give you distances from that, although again the elite runners go over the open ground.

1) To stop being such a pessimistic miserable b*****d. (Half The Time)
2) To stop being so optimisticly naive when it comes to my opinion on someone.
3) Get back into the routine of excerise before bed.  I was doing that for 3 months and just stopped for some reason.  I felt happier doing that.
4) To keep my weight below or at 11 1/2 stone, unless its anything else but fat, I didnt like the way I looked at 12 stone.

2 - Have some sort of success with women

Havent done too badly with the first this year, been playing football once and week and been getting fitter, as for the second well lets just say thats been none event lol.

Actually no, I can think of two realistic goals on top of health/fitness regime.  Pick up playing my keyboard again up to the level I was at, maybe even my trumpet playing again if I feel dangerous.  But I will definately pick up the acoustic sitting in the corner of my room more often and have a serious attempt at learning it and enjoying it.

Lose weight, Keep my Hair & get the New House all done & ready to move in by Easter! I got about a mile & 1/2 of Cabling down so far :D Going to have at least 3x CAT5 to every room (6 to master bedroom, Living room & theatre Room), 2x Shielded Coaxial to every room as well.
(I think the 3rd one will have a lot to do with the 1st 2).

Oh & Stop eating so much Junk.. I must have 3 or 4 McDs, KFCs or BKs a week atm!! Thats excluding the truck stops for Bacon & Egg rolls. Hmm.. I may as well add Friday Nights Kebab & Saturdays Indian to that list    - erm.. Eat more Healthy or Eat less Junk.. One or the Other.

Been thinking loads about them..

1. Put on weight - I just cant seem to do it. I work at Mcdonalds for christs sake and I still cant!! Any ideas? Think that weight gain stuff is a good idea?

2. Keep my current relationship good and happy - I seem to be terrible for fing things up.

3. Build my arm/wrist/hand muscles up more. Not just for my bass playing stamina, Id just like to be a bit bigger! I would very much like to just buy a set of weights for this. I hate gyms..

4. READ MORE BOOKS! - This is one I really want to work on. I just dont read enough. Got some great books on the music industry and photography out at the moment which Im working through..

5. Find a steady, good paying job where Im happy by my birthday - Got until April so that should be ok.

6. Dont buy any more instruments!!

Drinking a gallon of strawberry flavour gunk everyday aint fun.

Beer & good pub food (2 courses per day, 5 days per week minimum) works wonders, my prob is it all goes on my butt and belly so I gotta work it off again - I lose weight fast as I can gain it and Im drop dead so I can get away with being a little skinny.

I tried all sorts to put on weight but beer & pub grub beats all. However, a decent haircut and good style is worth 1000 Burger Royales.

So Then.......

Did you all succeed?

I certainly didnt.  I put a stone on in the last year which Isnt that bad I guess, mind when I made the resolution, I wasnt in an office job.

1) To stop being such a pessimistic miserable b*****d. (Half The Time)

Suceeded, I a really much happier looking back, I think.

2) To stop being so optimisticly naive when it comes to my opinion on someone.

Suceeded, I think.  errgh, what a year.

3) Get back into the routine of excerise before bed. I was doing that for 3 months and just stopped for some reason. I felt happier doing that.

I just stopped for no reason in the middle of summer.  Ive taken it up again.

4) To keep my weight below or at 11 1/2 stone, unless its anything else but fat, I didnt like the way I looked at 12 stone.

Im just under 13 stone, but its hardly the case of feeling unfit and looking flabby like last time.

5) To not give up job hunting and get my ass out of temp working.

Working, being trained, getting pay rised.  Enjoying it.

6) To pass my exam resit to get my 2:2 Honours.

Failed exam, left with unclassified degree.

Well, for 2008....

1.  Dont buy things unless I absolutely NEED them.
2.  Save relating money and save the extra money made from my recent pay rises.
3. Start marathon training earlier this year, started around March time last year.  Already started this year.
4. Shed the remaining bits of fat on my body, not bothered about losing weight as Ill probably put weight on from doing weights anyway.
5. Buy a bicycle and cycle to and from work.
6. Eat less crap food, dont each much anyway to be honest.

And the funniest of them all.

7. Go on a date and get laid.  2007 will be remembered for its "dry spell".

Drank the Amaretto, but the doctor put me on strong painkillers just after this so I didnt manage the Glenfarclas.

Also should have had an edit to get my first book to a publisher, guess I forgot to put that on, or it vanished during a problem :/
