people still wear watches?

The same people that still have those reflective discs with video data on them.

And what EXACTLY is the problem with wearing a watch? lol

Whats wrong with DVDs too?

The number of times Ive been asked what time it is when out and about by my friends, its a joke. Is it not fashionable to have a watch now or something? Fair enough mobile phones have clocks on, but for some reason my friends find it easier to ask me than to dig out their phone...

There seems to be a new fad for people who have mobile phones to use the clock on that instead of a watch.

As well as my Xonix watch Ive got one in my mobile phone and a separate one on my keys that includes a countdown timer.

well after getting the watch back for the 2nd time, its off yet again, as there is still glass in the watch, this time wedged under a solar panel bit, as well as the replacement watch glass not actually being set level, with a noticeable raised bit.

I think this will be the last citizen watch I ever own. I couldnt fault my diving watch, but after this I dont want anything to do with them.

Watch is back for a 3rd time.

It is in exactly the same state was when I sent it off, even though I described exactly what was wrong and where, leaving the impression that they didnt even bother to either look at the watch, or read the attached information.

So an email of complaint has been sent to the service centre highlighting the farce that has been an £80 service, and depending on the response itll also be forwarded to the head office.

Stupid thing is itd actually have all been ok had they detailed at the start that due to the nature of the problem they could not guarantee removal of all glass fragments. Had they said that I wouldnt have bothered and would have cut my losses there. :(

Moral of this story is, never, ever, buy a citizen watch.

Well after emailing them, they offered to replace the watch.

It only took sending it in 3 times and an angry email. The "repair" probably cost near £100. At least with the cost of skywatches watches, it means its still cost me about retail price, just no savings :(
