Paypal weirdness

Have used Paypal for years (without issue I might add) but in the last week or so Ive noticed that they now say uncleared and completed as a status guide. Thing is - I have transactions from say 4th May and 7th May that havent cleared yet but then ones I did yesterday have cleared straight away.

Is this just because of the bank holiday or is it being weird?

hmm ok its done those as an e-cheque not an instant bank transfer - god knows why I didnt do anything differently. 16th of may its expected to clear jesus Im going to have some unhappy sellers!  :cry:

solved. Its because my credit card had expired which was my alternative funding source. Without this you can only do e-cheque not bank transfers. Once Id updated my card details it had fixed itsself.


Thankfully the seller was quite nice about it... :D

Thanks Rivkid, you reminded me that my Paypal card was also expired! that could have been embarrassing.

glad to hear your seller was reasonable about it (happens to the best of us after all).
