Would a white hole "eat" a black ?

I saw that image while looking for black holes

wikipedia

Quote
In astrophysics, a white hole is the time reversal of a black hole. While a black hole acts as a vacuum, sucking up any matter that crosses the event horizon, a white hole acts as a source that ejects matter from its event horizon. The sign of the acceleration is invariant under time reversal, so both black and white holes attract matter. The only potential difference between them is in the behavior at the horizon.

Stephen Hawking has argued that white holes are the same as black holes, once quantum mechanics is taken into account.

So you mean that a time reversal occured yes ? but that is just a picture of the event not what caused it ;)

I am going on the theory that a white hole is the opposite of a black hole, or the "other side" of a black hole. So if in proximity to one another they may cancel each other out :P

I would have posted an "immovable object" as it would be interesting to see what happens then, but there arent many photos of such things.

But if youre going to be anal ;)

Its a "Vacuum" (not a vacuum cleaner, its just hard to get a photo of the absence of matter)

Im guessing a black hole couldnt form in a complete vacuum as there would be no mass to start with. Or it Wouldnt get fed by the lack of matter?

In this case it a sun to feed on though ;) It is an interesting question though has there ever been totally nothing, no masss whatsoever ? or everything totally filled with mass ? I tend to think that it has allways been something in between the two extreems.
