Just so you guys know...
Getting close. We have it in a form we can see it on these actual forms with your posts, your images and your information.
Looks great - f**ked up in a lot of areas and tweaks and fixes and some bits need to be fixed etc but it is getting close.

Were going to launch it and then work on fine tuning with things like icons and some 1px or 3px alignments and so on to sort over time on the fly.
Soon as that is done I will make a copy of it and do a non text bubble version for people that just want on blue content.

Good work! But I have kind of gone off the blue now! Maybe just tweak blue tints maybe? Mostly after seeing:

you're deffinitely earning the "hero member" tag with this project (I know that is actually based on post count and a lot of us have it but I reckon you'll actually deserve it after all this work).

Can't wait to see the finished article, in the mean time, have one of these

Sorry I didn't mean that... the second version that nexus is working on I was talking about, in case it was going to be similar to the old tek one, not for one minute did I think the new forum was going to be anything like that!!

It is going to be the blue theme but better but a bit more up to date. I not gone grazy but it is better.
I will get around to doing a boring old old one for the folk who are to fuddy duddy

And as a personal project I will do a way modern one at some point.

You will have to put up with the SamBB V2 theme for a bit though as icons and things will be tweaked for it to get it right. Then the off shoot boring one will follow once all the issues have been ironed out.

Ah but does it have more swastikas and insight more hatred and discrimination? If not can this be worked on, it may be the finishing 'classy' touches needed $:-\$

Hopefully everyone will see why and when you guys will see it, we are not stopping there as icons etc will need to be all improved.

Currently fixing up the actual post layouts. Sorted signatures so they sit right.
Still finding elements that basically going - what the hell is the point in that - and then scrapping them as they just take up space.
One of the things Nige asked was to make the header really thin, which I think I did up nicely.
Main nav has all the basics, just need to tidy it up.

Posting is pretty much there, I made this into a proper looking WYSIWYG, just some tweaks to do to it still.
Quotes I kept the blue as nige asked, just some colour fixes.

Getting there though. Core is done, just fixing and sorting out stuff now. Generally I am very pleased with how it is coming along.
