Im off there in about 2 weeks, now I know most of the main sights to see etc, but is there anything more low key anyone knows about thats worth trying, bars, restaurants, things to see or do.... you get the gist.

Its quite small so you can just walk about and will see most of the city. I would definitely recommend Alcatraz as thats one of the best tours Ive ever done. How long you going for ? Leslie is from San Francisco so I will ask her what she recommends.

Check out the Giradelli chocolate stuff while youre there, good sh*t and think you can look around their production line, cant quite remember.

Take BART  to Berkeley and get some coffee at cafe Med
on Telegraph ave. just below the Uni.

Thanks guys, going for 5 nights, already planned to go to alcatraz on an evening tour - my other half has been before and says its much better in the evening, and were also gonna go to a baseball game but just trying to find out if theres anything we shouldnt miss really that we dont already know about....

book & buy your alacatraz tickets in advance

the fireman tower could be worth a visit as well as fishermans wharf
