Surely it must be different from the student deals, because I got Windows 7 on the cheap student deal and I graduated yet havent been told I have to uninstall because Im no longer a student...

The academic/student deals are for life

I think for future reference whenever I take up any form of deal that states something like that I will make sure to take screenshots etc.
