Guys we havnt even done a mailshot to Tekheads users yet - something Kris is imminently planning on doing - so its no surprise theres been no sudden splurge of new members. Give it a month or so and then well guage things.

Before OCS it was Power Computing.  -)

Spam always wins friends :D *sarcasm* :P

OCS... as far as im aware it turned into TOCS... smaller community there, swafe, sara, and some others are members there I think.

IMHO, leave it as it is. We are getting new signups from the link (which is the most important thing in my eyes) and i honestly couldnt care less about hitting my scroll wheel one more time to get to the forums i want to post in. Anyone whos bitching about the Tekheads forums being at the top needs to either chill out, or take a step back and look at how petty youre being over a forum that doesnt belong to you.

People chatting, no need to try and sh*t stir and try and start things that are not there

From dating help to other soppy bullsh*t... that man was a king of messed up threads. This entire thread pales in insignificance as to what he was capable of.

Classic.

If you ask me...it just says that the formula of this place never changes. Skimming over threads, not much has changed in the last 3 years. Back then there were just as many debates about how the place should be run as there are now.

Of the different groups I’ve been involved in since leaving, nothing quite compared to the community here (I’m not saying that this is a good thing, just that it was...unique). In retrospect this community of core members is probably the cause of many a classic messed up threads creation. The problem with a small tight community though is that differences of opinions tend to be magnified tenfold. It’ll never change, 3+ years of the same kind of behaviour and discussion suggests.

Then again, you didnt ask me. Sorry to intrude, but I was just too bored to do much of anything tonight. Bye again.

It would be nice if you stuck around, plenty of people would like to see you back. Ignore the remarks of Rich.

Sure things zpyder produced were entertaining, but what was more entertaining for the majority of you as was shown by view counts at the time was the fact that he is a complete social reject. Unable to deal with women or people in general, he is your stereotypical "nerd". Many comments previously when he left were based around the "maybe you should take the opportunity to step away from the forums and get out more" ethic.

Im game for giving him another roasting about his wishes to go "stella" on a lass, or laughing at the manner in which he approaches women.

Sure!!! come back zpyder, tekforums misses its pet nerd terribly so.

[/roast]

He may have changed somewhat since previous times, but given his profile comments and occupation I dont hold out much hope for it.
