Grant National 2015
on: April 06, 2015, 14:23:33 PM

Oh god, here we go again :panic:

My Uncles track record has not been so great the last few years :-X

From 3 horses

2010 - backed the winner
2011 - backed the winner + 2 places
2012 - 1 place
2013 - 1 place
2014 - Jack

But, it's been going on for so long that the imageshack hosted pic Nige did no longer works, and this is several years in so why not 8)

Horses TBC as he's currently at the Irish grand national :yarr:

Balthazar king 9/1 - £5 e/w
Cause of causes 16/1 - £2.50 e/w
Lord windermere 40/1 - £2.50 e/w

As usual betvictor now offering 6 places.

http://www.oddschecker.com/grand-national-betting-odds/winner <- odds table, remember generally the odds tumble as the event closes in.

My uncles tips are in with the usual caveats, don't bet more than you can afford to lose. The national is quite literally a lottery with so many horses running.

I'll go in again, I've done alright overall out of it and I could do with some good fortune :) I'll see if I can find that grant national image again too  ;D

I'm sure there are better things to do with money, such as giving it to deserving young ladies of negotiable virtue.... ;D

Horses in, though he doesn't fancy any of them as he backed 3 at the Irish national and none even finished (only 9 did) :worried:

I'm in. I got 18/1 on Cause of Causes through BV.

Nice, as long as you ticked 'accept higher odds' it doesn't matter too much 8)

Anyway, the lottery kicks off in a few :panic:
