Trump pulls out of Paris...
on: June 02, 2017, 03:59:03 AM
Not Hilton but the climate deal. Then I might have a better opinion of him if he had pulled out of Paris Hilton.

Seems it's not entirely over, there are lots of Americans saying they are going to follow the accords anyway, regardless of Trumpet.

No matter if you believe in humans causing climate change or not reducing pollution is good for saving you money, improving health and good for the economy.

The corporates know the writing is on the wall, I doubt if his actions will have much effect. Renewables are pushing Nuclear to the brink, and also pushing coal prices down. None of the corporate Americans think his backing coal will produce any new jobs at all, it might slow the inevitable though. What the world needs now is storage for any excess power generated, which is hopefully already an option and will get cheaper in the future.

I'm severely disappointed it wasn't the Hilton kind, couldn't bring myself to read the real story.

Since records began the US has been hit by at the most one category 4 hurricane in a year. This time it's been hit by Harvy and Irma, both category 4. Jose is still circling in the Atlantic and could in theory go hit New York area, or it might just cross the ocean and hit Iceland, Norway or the UK, it might even hit all 3.

If that happens feel free to post 'pinball wizard'

And there's now Hurricane Maria, already category 1 and expected to strengthen rapidly. It seems to be following the same path as Irma and could well hit the US as a third category 4.

Trump has his head up his ass, hopefully the Americans will vote Democrat in the elections this year. That would give them the option of impeaching him, if there's enough evidence.

Then he did surprise the Republicans, and everyone else, by agreeing with the Democrats for a 3 month extension to the US finances. The Republicans had wanted to stick it out for a longer time period.
