I'm now addicted to Airwaves Cherry Menthol

There is a e-liquid called Red Astaire(1 of my favorites) that tastes like cherry tunes with a good kick of menthol.

k I'm gonna get one ordered but the only thing I'm not sure about is carrying one around in my pocket - can you unscrew the top and carry them around in two pieces? I'm thinking having a big long hard thing in my trousers might look a bit off..

Yes removing the tank from the battery is possible on a lot of personal vaporizers .Best to check before buying though.Have a look on YouTube for a review on the 1's you are interested in.

:w00t: I spent about 60 quid on an aspire kit and some bottles of juice. I haven't had a ciggie since Friday morning. Can't believe it

Well done , keep off the stinkies.
Aspire Nautilus got me off the stinkies , good bit of kit.
Presently my friend has mine to help him through the hell of giving up & he to was quite surprised how much a few toots on the Nautilus helped
him.

Forgot to say the Aspire kit fits in my pocket pretty well. Love it - it's great not stinking, my skin isn't so greasy and I'm breathing way better and it has only been 4 days. I was worried about panic attacks but so far it's been pretty chilled.

Bigsteve did you step down nicotine strengths over time or did you just stop?

I've started on the 12mg stuff and it seems to be working perfectly because every time I think about a ciggie I'm like :gag:

So I'm thinking the next step is to drop down to 6mg after a few weeks? I figure the government will step in and ban or tax them to death  :yarr: sooner or later so I want to be down to 0mg asap.

my mate tried some & one broke in his mouth, he had to go for all sort of medical checkups & toxicology reports - as well as the broken vapor sent off for analysis.
Basically, they dont know what exactly is in some of them.

Not actually sure what he was doing with the thing in his mouth , normally just the drip tip , a hollow plastic or stainless steel tube which the vapour comes up  in  to your mouth.
True some e-liquids are very dodgy but normally the very cheap stuff.
A lot of premium liquids  do test their flavours for substances classed as risky.
E-liquid is basically vegetable glycerin (found in many food stuffs) , monopropylene glycol ( found in many things including asthma inhalers), nicotine & flavourings.
Flavourings are usually from cooking flavours , true heating them all up & vaping them is still not fully tested but ingesting them should be no big problem.
If he cut himself some how & the liquids got into his blood stream well that is more serious but a small air bubble will kill you quicker.
I use .3mg nicotine or 0 nicotine , i will probably get more nicotine if i stand next to a smoker @ the bus stop.

I have no idea - it may have been an e-cigarette, actually have no idea if there is a difference between the two.

To some degree your body will tell you when to drop nicotine strength , usually when you first start vaping you do not take large lungfuls
,after a while when you use it more or turn the wattage up then 12 mg will hit pretty hard.Headaches , shakes are normally the first sign that the nicotine
strength is to high.I quickly moved on to drippers & sub-ohm tanks , 12 mg was way to strong .I would get really wobbly & shakey but dropping down to
6 mg for tanks & 3 mg for drippers sorted this.
Nautilus is good for about 14 watts (normally 8 to 12 watts), i vape around 35 to 55 watts mostly so i get a load more vapour , thus more nicotine so
most of my vaping is with 3 mg nicotine. For drippers i will go up to 150 watts+(if i'm in the mood for big clouds) & then i use no nicotine mostly.
Give it a few weeks/months & try dropping to 6 mg & see how you feel.

I have been vaping for over 3 years, I started after I had a smoking related health scare. I tried gum, patches etc which were next to useless tbh and I knew from the day of getting my first kit that I had found something to replace smoking with.

Over the years I have spent quite a lot on higher end equipment Genesis, mechanical mods etc but always less than it would cost me to smoke, over the last 12-18 months that has settled down as I have found devices that suit me, I spend on average around £10-15 a week including eliquid on it.

My all day vapes are a pair of Kayfun v4's which offer a really good performance and are really convenient as they never leak and need a minimum of maintenance, except from a 5 minute weekly wick change and a new coil every 2-3 weeks. I run them on a DNA40 and a SX mini regulated box mods at 30-35 watts.  I also have a couple of drippers which I just use at home at I tend to vape them at 50watts+.

I have been playing around with different coil styles recently my Kayfun's have clapton coils and drippers fused clapton's which really do make a large difference to the vapor production and flavour due to the massive surface area increase they offer over a regular coil. I used to make them freehand which was quite fiddly, but found this video a few weeks back and have been using this method ever since which makes it a doddle to do:

I have no plans to stop vaping as I do enjoy the act and nicotine, I view it as a alternative rather than a quitting tool, I currently vape at 24mg I have tried lower strengths  but I found I just used it more, I would rather have a really satisfying vape then go 10-15 minutes between than reaching for it every few minutes.

What a clever idea , normally do my Clapton's free hand but may give this a go.
Did a Nickel Clapton last weekend & it did take 2 goes to get it correct , the Nickel is so soft was a pain to keep main wire straight.

Gf has gone down to 0mg now, I tried it and it is smooth and just tastes nice, not a bad habit to have really if she can stick with it like that!

She's been flitting between 6-12mg for a while, maybe a month or two, but has now relapsed back to 6mg as she found she was just puffing on it pretty constantly as it wasn't delivering her anything at all. She has it less when it has some nicotine as it gets rid of the craving for a bit.

Seems cannabis versions are on sale in UK - without the high.

https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg22730354-500-e-spliff-on-sale-in-uk-designed-to-relieve-pain-minus-the-high/

I went to my doctors to ask about this. It's not available on the NHS, which I knew already, but I wanted to find their opinion on any possible issues.

Between putting the appointment on and seeing the doc I had a fall, mentioned it. Doc took my blood pressure, 174/143. Very high again despite tablets for it.

So the experiment is on hold while they check that issue out. I have to take my own blood pressure twice a day for a week. Might ask the company about it anyway, although I rarely trust the opinion of the people who sell stuff.
