haaaaa I was going to do that.. then I noticed I can replace the whole Stair spindles & Bannister for £50 & door frames coving thing I bought for £15 for 30 running meters from ebay.
Might cost a bit more, but less hassle


Im replacing the bannister, baserails and spindles but the folks want it all natural wood so I gotta strip the paint off the steps and stuff. I got no idea how theyre gonna match the old/new wood colours but that aint my problem :D. Howd you get the stuff for £50? Im looking at 10x that at least.


spindles are only £1 - look on ebay - but I can get them direct from the manufacturer.. howdens
£20 for handrail & £20 for new  post thing.. dont think B&Q are much more

i badly bruised my leg in a long-boarding accident on sunday.

the unofficial version is, i got pissed on friday and misjudged a 3 metre jump and bruised both my legs.

Fri - Gym, Casino for a Friends birthday, exex stayed at mine.
Sat - Hungover ice skating, TGI Fridays, watched Ice Hockey, exex stayed again.
Sun - Tidied apartment, exex left, parents arrived, Ice Hockey training for an hour, followed by a game.
Mon - Feel like death.

Its getting as confusing as software licensing

The weekends arent long enough, I can NEVER get enough done to the car, but this weekend I degreed my exhaust cam for the third time and have come to the conclusion that the electrical timing in the map must be wrong, as no amount of advance cured the glowing exhaust manifold and turbo at cruise.

I put the boost control pot in, and the exhaust gas temperature sensor arrived. Need to strap the airfilter to the body, and put the intercooler fan on and Im done with this project and on to the 2.2 20v turbo Porsche 924.

Guy coming over to map it shortly, rolling road rebooked for the beginning of January, Im quietly confident its going to be at least 550hp at 2 bar. Even at 0.5bar on my run in map its brutal.

I had one who decided she wanted to get married six times, and changed her mind every time. This despite the fact that I never asked her. She nearly drove me nuts.

No, I also found out she was seeing at least two other blokes, one of them had a nervous breakdown over her and the other committed suicide...

Rather nasty when you think about it. Probably a lucky escape on my part too. Havent seen her in over ten years.
