I suggest giving this a week and then thin out those with zero or one vote and having another round. We can then cut the list in half again if needbe and remove the lowest votes.

I like 10 best, but i think with all the skill we have here someone can do better.

A few new skins in the old tek colour schemes would be nice.

How hard is it to makes skins for phpBB though. ??

TBH i dont think any of them are good enough for the logo, even my own

This poll has come up way to quickly IMO and we should have loads more attempts and wait to see when some of the others join in.

Sara suggested a poll, i asked Clockd... put the poll up..... there were already 29 entries (plus the 2 of brummies i missed) and that list is a bit excessive for a single poll..... might it be worth sam and the admin giving examples of what they want rather than a free for all then?

Its the quality more than anything, most of them look amateurish - which of course they are - not intending to offend anyone.

Ill have a go if I get some spare time, but really we need a resident graphic designer to come up trumps with something a little more slick than Arial 12, italics, drop shadow and texture effect.

But there is a need to know the final forum design too. No point doing a red logo if your gonna change the froum to blue etc

Well even we dont know that yet, but the header can remain a seperate entity to the rest of the look, thats how we got away with a reed skin, a silver skin, etc before. Safest bet is to probably assume well stick with a blue or silver theme? Were not likely to go for anything gaudy after all.

Just to reassure, Im not taking the mick out of anyones efforts, its just that none quite look polished enough compared to our original logo and some have aspects totally unrelated like clovers or Fisher Price colours.
