News update: They seem to have hopefully killed off the infection at least, shes looking a bit better even though her left leg and foot are still very swollen. Now she wants to get out of hospital as soon as possible :/

With luck if she does come home it will mean that they will provide additional care here, I certainly couldnt manage on my own in that situation.

and if we are really lucky they might even help get the insulation sorted out before winter comes.
