I'll be avoiding it given how awful the come-back miniseries on Dave was.

Which they all know and did not like either.
Still could be hit or miss but they realise the old way was the right way so they gone back to those routes. Old physical sets, studio audiences etc.

I'm giving them one episode to convince me it's worth my time and the HDD capacity on my freeview+ box

If I'm not ROFLing in less than 5 minutes, they fail.


I'd be inclined to think it was me looking back with rose tinted glasses, but they made the mistake of showing classic episodes directly after the "back-to-earth" miniseries episodes. Compare that rubbish to Gunmen of the Apocalypse or Back to Reality. At least they got the setting right, it was light years off the pace.
