Cheap inks are pretty good for most stuff, although the colours are questionable at times and longevity of the prints are not as good as they have a tendancy to fade much sooner than the canon/hp/epson ones.

Anything you want to put in an album I would just use an online service like Photobox.  Although for day to day stuff, the 3rd party ones cannot be beaten.

I found that laminating them can help a bit as the inks oxidise in air, got the idea from a photographic magazine article. It also stops grubby little hands smearing the ink all over the place.

Thats a trading fact, non genuine cartridges are weak in colour, I expected that, but these prints are superb, the only question is longevity, Ill suggest to the kids the get them laminated, like Serious said, lol  we read the same mag.

£8.94 + cost of inks. = 100 prints.

8p a print... I can get 111 professionally printed prints for the same price as just your paper..

Not so cheep pics now.

There is also the problem of when you only want a few prints quickly. Much easier to just print them out and be done with it. If you do need a lot then the bucket sites/shops are the way to go.

Most photo places will do it. As soon as you start hitting 100 prints, they lower the prices considerably.
