Title: A bit of a geeky find
Post by: zpyder on January 14, 2013, 16:36:56 PM
Going through some old microscope slide cabinets the other week, came across some that were quite old. Oldest I've found so far are 1866, most of the ones in the photos below are either pre-1900, or just about 1900.

I want to try and track down the history on some of the names on the slides, and figure out a way to present these :D

Cool to think that someone was probably doing something similar to what you do but 140 years ago, makes you wonder if in 140 years time someone will be finding what you've done on an old hard drive lying around somewhere.
